Pacific X Rack Bike Carrier w/ Boomerang Base

A versatile bike carrier from Pacific. The X Rack Straight Base Bike carrier uses their excellent base plates, as used on the A frame Bicycle car rack system and carries up to 4 bicycles of various shapes and sizes. Bicycles can be secured on arms with octopus straps or bicycle toe straps.

• Instant tool-free removal of the A-Frame section leaves only the base attached to the car, allowing easy access to rear doors and boots.
• Padded arms to protect bike finish
• The two sides of the A-frame are bolted together via a welded plate on each; they can therefore be separated for easier storage and transport.
• The two sides of the A-frame will need assembling by the customer: a simple job requiring only 2 10mm spanners.
• A-frame attaches and releases from base via 2 lock pins - no tools needed.
• As an upgrade option one of the lock pins can be replaced with the Pacific A-Frame Lock, which locks the A-Frame to the base.
• This A-frame rack uses the same bases as the other 2, 3 and 4 bike Pacific A-Frame carriers, therefore the X-Rack top can be used on existing bases, and the purchase of an extra base means the X-Rack can be instantly switched between different cars.
• The Boomerang Base places the uprights of the A-Frame 100mm out from the towball (further from the vehicle, giving spare tyre clearance).
