Upper
The XC60 features a tough but supple synthetic leather upper for long term durability and protection from the rocks, roots and grit out on the trails. An oversize micrometric buckle closure coupled with 2 velcro straps provides a secure and easily adjustable fit without pressure points or abrasion. Dual density insoles with an enhanced profile provide support and cushioning for comfort on longer rides.
Sole
Shimano have optimised the sole for a combination of stiffness, light weight and traction for efficient power transfer and speed. It is constructed from a carbon fibre infused polyamide matrix with a grippy, mud-shedding tread pattern. Spike mounts are included for extra grip in wet conditions.
