ENVE's SES AR drop bars have been aerodynamically optimised in a wind tunnel to provide real world performance gains. The aero shape has a two-fold benefit with increased road dampening, allowing longer days at higher power output. Internal cable routing further increases aero performance and keeps the front end looking clean and untangled.

The bars have been constructed from carbon fibre to reduce the overall weight of the bars and improve road dampening. The result is a lightweight handlebar that feels great.

Internal cables can result in a large aero benefit for riders. The front of the bike takes the bulk of wind and so the front of the bike is the most important aerodynamic upgrades to make. Internal cables are inserted into the handlebars and tucked away. The result is a neat and clean look, free of clutter and reduced aero drag. The SES AR bars offer both internal routing as well as channels for those who prefer to hide cables under bar tape.

The bars have a compact drop size of 127mm. This allows riders to comfortably sit in the drops where standard drop bars may be too deep and cause back pain. The bars also feature a slight flare of 23.5mm. The slight flare provides comfort to riders without ruining the aero properties of the bars.
