The aluminium frame on the Jamis Durango A1 29" Hardtail Mountain Bike is beefed up to include a larger 34.9mm seat tube, which allows to spec an over-sized 31.6mm seat post. The larger diameter post flexes less, providing a firmer pedalling platform.

Running the cables up under the top tube keeps cables and housing out of the muck for more precise and reliable shifting performance.
