Trust Your Instinct
From all-day epics to technical singletrack, the Instinct you covered. Rocky Mountain designed a bike that’s capable of tackling technical trail riding but still allows you to push the pedals hard on the climbs. They updated the geometry, frame features, and suspension kinematics to make sure you feel confident on the up’s, down’s, and everything in between.
The Right Setup For Any Trail
Total precision is yours on any trail with our RIDE-9 adjustment system and 2-position rear axle that allows for chainstay length adjustment. It’s everything you need to quickly arrive on the best setup for the trail ahead.
Carbon That’s Better
Smoothwall carbon uses one of the world’s most sophisticated carbon processes to deliver industry-leading stiffness-to-weight, ride quality, and durability. Rocky eliminate excess resin and fibres by using rigid internal moulds instead of traditional air bladders. Then utilizing different types of carbon in specific frame areas to maximize stiffness and impact resistance while minimizing overall weight.
Smoothlink is just… smoother
Smoothlink suspension is efficient yet supple when you’re on the pedals and across a wide range of gears. It features a controlled end-stroke and a rate-curve that feels more capable than the travel would suggest. This four-bar suspension design philosophy is centred on ride characteristics; each bike platform we develop balances variables like anti-squat, axle path, chain growth, rate curve, anti-rise, etc. to achieve the legendary Rocky Mountain ride feel.
Modular Shock Mount
Available on Altitude and Instinct carbon models, the modular shock mount allows for future suspension kinematic updates.
Size Specific Tune
Size Specific Tune ensures that riders of all sizes get the right balance of small-bump compliance, mid-stroke support, and end-stroke progressiveness. Our design team does custom shock tunes based on real-world field testing and adjusts each tune for specific frame sizes.
Total Trail Precision
Razor-sharp handling and a buttery but efficient suspension setup means satisfying small bump compliance and addictive flickability. Hitting the sweet spot between big hit confidence and surgical levels of precision, it rewards the rider ready to ride more of everything, faster.
Pushys go to great lengths to get bikes to their customers as fully built as possible. Due to shipping restrictions there is one part of the build that Pushys mechanics cannot complete, which is fully mounting the handlebars onto the stem. We strongly recommend that a qualified bicycle mechanic undertakes the final fixing of the handlebars before riding. Failure to do so could cause a bicycle malfunction and result in serious injury for which pushys.com.au
will not be held liable. Any assembly undertaken without professional assistance is at the customer's risk and any damage resulting from faulty assembly will not be covered by the warranty.
