The Targon is your modular full-face helmet for demanding mountain biking: With a removable chin guard and Mips padding, it offers maximum protection downhill and more freedom uphill without a guard – made in Italy.
Half shell or full-face?
With the innovative Speed Latch System™, the choice is yours. Without the chin bar, it’s a lightweight, well-ventilated half-shell for climbs and tours. With the chin bar, it becomes a full-face for extra protection on demanding trails and in the bike park.
MODERN, NATURAL OR BOLD?
While Velvet Black appears clean and timeless and Sand Beige combines natural, earthy tones, Ash Purple delivers a modern look with violet and grey gradients. Lemon White adds brighter accents for a more eye-catching style.
Certified for your runs
The Targon meets the ASTM F1952-22 standard, an additional test specifically designed for downhill helmets. It also holds EN 1078 certification for Europe and meets the CPSC standard for the U.S. and Canada. The MIPS version offers additional protection against rotational forces on technical trails and fast descents.

The Targon modular full-face helmet is made for those who give their all off-road. Whether difficult trails, steep drops or fast passages – in full-face mode, it offers you the protection you need, even when things get challenging. Ideal for the bike park, on holiday or on your trails at home!
And when you are riding uphill? Simply remove the chin guard and let in more air. You can easily carry the guard on your arm or bike handlebars. Once you reach the top, reattach the chin guard and benefit from full protection for your head and face on the way down. The easy-to-use mechanism of the Speed Latch system allows the chin guard to be attached quickly and without jamming or jerking. And practical features such as the Vario Pads or the Zoom Rapid Fit adjustment system ensure an optimum fit while riding.

- Lower edge protection: polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear and tear
- Zoom™ Rapid Fit adjustment system: millimetre-precise adjustment of the helmet to the shape of the head via a rotary wheel connected to a thin nylon cable with steel core – pressing the rotary wheel resets it to its original position
- Front Eyewear Port: defined recess on the front of the helmet to position glasses in a secure and aerodynamic holding position while riding
- Goggle Fit: defined area under the peak of the helmet to securely fix goggles so that they do not slip or fall off
- Speed Latch System™: for quick attachment of the chin guard to the helmet
- Breakaway Visor: high-quality peak to protect against sunlight and hanging branches – thanks to special technology, it can detach in the event of a fall to minimise strain on the neck
- Comfort Pads: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
- Vario Pads: cheek pads that can be adjusted in position using a slide-and-lock mechanism for additional protection and a comfortable and secure fit of the full-face helmet
- Removable, washable pads: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary
- Stitched straps: for optimum aerodynamics, the straps are sewn and therefore do not require any strap dividers – this means they fit particularly snugly and do not flap while riding
- In-mould process: production process in which the inner cushioning material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC) – this creates a durable and robust connection
- Injected Carbon: plastic material reinforced with carbon fibres, which ensures high stability and low weight at the same time
- Magnetic buckle: the straps are fitted with a high-quality, magnetic FIDLOCK buckle to enable the chin buckle to be opened with one hand, even when wearing gloves
- Mips padding: low-friction shell attached to the inside of the padding to counteract rotational forces in the event of a fall – does not interfere with the ventilation system and is characterised by its low weight
