Versatile and durable this sturdy, heavy-duty dry-pack uses a robust PVC coated polyester fabric making it ideal for the waterproof, and dustproof, packing of expedition essentials like sleeping bags or electronic devices/cameras. It has a reliable roll closure with a single reinforcement strip to ensure absolute protection of its contents.
Tear Resistant Fabric
Blessed with increased tear-resistance the 13 Litre ORTLIEB PS490 DRY BAG can even be used as a haul sac or other heavy duty purposes. It features 3D welded seams, a reinforced PD 620 base which supports stability (and easier loading), plus a loop at the bottom for anchoring or holding (when pulling contents out of the bag). You might even use the loop for tensioning and attachment possibilities. Also provided are two buckles with D-rings for securing the pack inside a boat or on top of a luggage rack.

In order to meet standard IP64 (6=dustproof, 4=protected against splash water coming from all directions) the roll closure must be rolled at least 3-4 times. Please add 15-20 cm/5-8 in. for the total length.
