How to choose freewheels and sprockets
Not every bike runs a standard cassette. This range covers threaded freewheels, single speed conversions and sprockets for BMX, track and hub gears.
Freewheels
Thread onto older or entry-level hubs. Check your hub is threaded, not a freehub.
Single speed kits
Convert a geared freehub to one cog for dirt jump, pump track or commuting.
BMX sprockets
Match chain width (usually 3/32" or 1/8") and choose a tooth count for your gearing.
Track cogs
Fixed gear and track hubs need a 1/8" cog and a lockring to hold it securely.
Hub gear sprockets
Shimano Nexus and Alfine hubs use their own sprockets with a snap ring.
E-bike sprockets
Some motors use specific front sprockets. Match the motor model and generation.
