The 3 speed E-540 is the perfect bike for fast growing kids. Designed for 7-11 year olds between 130-160cms, never before has a bike at this level offered so much - dynamically, efficiently, and safely. We have considered every component to increase strength and lower the overall weight. The E-540x3i features the cool SRAM i-motion 3 speed internal gears with a footbrake, and the incredibly lightweight ByK RGO frame. All this at just over 11kgs/24.2lbs. Traditional 24" Wheel
We strongly recommend that a qualified bicycle mechanic undertake the final building of this bicycle before riding. Failure to do so could cause a bicycle malfunction and result in serious injury for which pushys.com.au will not be held liable. Any assembly undertaken without professional assistance is at the customer's risk and any damage resulting from faulty assembly will not be covered by the warranty.
Design:
. The lightweight Alloy frame is customised to reduce weight and improve handling.
. We have also fitted the strongest wheels we could find, with more spokes for strength - 36 per wheel, eye lit rims, and excellent quality stainless steel spokes.
Performance:
. We have considered every component to increase strength and lower the overall weight.
. Another crucial design ingredient to the clever design is the improved control and bump dampening ability of our CRM forks - giving a dramatic advantage in handling and comfort.
. Add to that the super cool SRAM i-motion 3 speed internal gears.
. The E-540x3i comes without a footbrake.
Safety:
. To make a children's bike safe, the rider needs to be able to brake efficiently and confidently.
. The custom-sized V-Brakes we have used are calibrated for age, ability and ergonomic fit. And they are made of non-flexing, strong and light alloy.
. Our light weight alloy rims ensure pedalling is easier. But more importantly alloy rims are a more efficient braking surface than cheaper, chrome-plated steel rims, and are therefore safer.
