As an extremely lightweight tyre with limited puncture protection, the High Road SL is recommended for race use only. It's designed to be fast, not to last. The High Road SL is suitable for racing time trials, on the velodrome, or any situation where a rider wants the lightest setup possible

ONE70 utilizes special high thread count fabric in the casing, reducing rolling resistance even further than our other racing tyres. ONE70 Technology also provides better road feel and weight savings over other racing tyres.
HYPR-S Compound
The High Road SL is the first Maxxis tyre to use our new HYPR-S compound. Building on the success of the HYPR compound which debuted on the original High Road, the new HYPR-S compound retains exceptional grip while decreasing rolling resistance by 12%.
K2 Protection
A lightweight, high-performance tyre needs an equally light and high-performing puncture protection layer. For the High Road SL we chose our exclusive K2 material that ensures ride quality and performance remain unsurpassed. K2 is used as a breaker - situated underneath the tread - on the High Road SL.
