A Burley Ballz Thru Axle is required for any bike with a 12mm rear thru axle to enable connection of the Coho XC trailer. This axle is specially designed for use with the Coho XC and it is not compatible with all carbon fibre bike frames. The thru axle is slightly longer so that it can stick out on the right side of the frame to attach the Ballz hitch mount.
