Lighter and slimmer than the previous iterations of the EWS and World Cup-winning Chamber, this shoe is ready to send it downhill but delivers plenty of power transfer when it comes time to pedal. A supple microfiber upper conforms to your foot for a locked-in feel and a new low-bulk tongue help make the Chamber III our lightest version yet. Simple, secure retention from Velcro hook-and-loop lock down strap and laces adapts to varying foot volumes, while a Giro-specific Sensor rubber outsole pairs grip and durability. At the heart of the shoe, the clipless-compatible DH plate with +10mm optimized cleat setback strikes the perfect balance of stiffness and walkability. - Microfiber Upper: Lightweight yet durable, the Microfiber Upper is water-resistant yet breathable, and supremely comfortable. Paired with a comfortable, non-restricting, fully-wrapping bulk free tongue.
- Velcro® Powerstrap: Velcro® hook-and-loop Powerstrap works in conjunction with laced closure for superior heel lock-down, added security and support.
- Rockprint: Rockprint reinforcement along the toe and heel offers added protection and durability in high-wear areas.
- Custom DH Shank: The Chamber III custom DH shank features a cleat position that is 10mm further rearward vs. our other MTB shoes. This ensures an even more stable platform for descending, while still enabling efficient pedaling.
- Sensor™ Rubber: Giro’s proprietary rubber formula balances grip and durability without sacrificing light weight. The rubber outsole is co-molded with the carbon composite plate to deliver a permanent, glue-less bond.
