- FIT: A BOA 360° fit system includes an adjustable dial that delivers a more secure fit and maximises safety. Overall improvements to the shell shape ensure the ARO5 Race sits lower on the head for better balance and a more natural contour.
- LIGHTWEIGHT: The ARO5 Race is lighter than its predecessor, achieved through a newly designed shell and internal modifications.
- PROTECTION: The Mips® Air safety system is a helmet-integrated, low-friction layer designed to decrease rotational motion to the head, helping reduce harmful forces during impact.
- VENTILATION: Features newly designed front and top ventilation ports to significantly increase airflow and breathability, with 19 vents in total across the top, sides, and rear.
- LINING: Ionic+™ Antimicrobial liner is sweat-activated to keep things fresh and control odour.
- EYEWEAR STORAGE: Front vents provide a go-to spot to easily stash eyewear. Unobtainium® grippers hold eyewear stems in place, while interior foam cutouts prevent pressure points or injury in case of impact.
- DESIGN: Includes a branding badge with Iridium® coating, mirroring the Prizm™ lens colours found in Oakley eyewear. Each badge colour is unique to the helmet colourway.
