The 693 is a 36 mm x 24 TPI right-hand threaded tap designed for use with the BTS-1 Bottom Bracket Tapping Set to tap Italian threaded bottom bracket shells.
This tap is used on both sides of the bike, as both sides of the Italian standard are right-hand threaded.
