Lightweight, Low Rolling Resistance
The extremely light 490g tire (26" versions, Performance Line) not only rolls quickly, but it is also very playful and agile. At the same time, Billy Bonkers offers its riders a forgiving landing, even when things in the air don't go exactly as planned.
Maximum Traction
Its tread design is produced for maximum traction on crushed gravel and hard dirt. The finely divided blocks multiply the gripping edges, while in the middle, small ramps help ease roll-off and make the tire even faster. The result: more airtime.
ADDIX Performance Compound
ADDIX compounds make all of Schwalbe's mountain bike tyres better. Tests in the lab, and the field, demonstrate that ADDIX performs better than any other compound before, in all disciplines: XC, AM and TRAIL, ENDURO, and DOWNHILL. The inclusion of ADDIX is immediately recognizable by the label on the sidewall and the coloured stripe in the tread. The Schwalbe Billy Bonkers Tyre uses ADDIX Performance Compound, a very durable rubber compound with many benefits. Like Speedgrip, it is a universal compound for tyres in the Performance Line.
